What are your school hours?
The classroom doors open at 7:30 a.m. class instruction starts at 7:50 a.m. Preschool starts at 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Transitional Kindergarten starts at 7:50 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Kindergarten through Eighth grade school hours are from 7:50 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
The first Wednesday of every month is a minimum day, with dismissal at 12:30 p.m. The remaining Wednesdays we have early dismissal at 2:00 p.m. for grades Kindergarten through Eighth grade.
How many children are in each class?
There are currently no more than 24 students per class and one class per grade in first through eighth grade. However, the classes are capped at 32 students with aide(s). The decision to open a second class per grade is at the discretion of the principal.
The preschool, T-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten classes have a 12:1 ratio.
How do I enroll in your school?
Sacred Heart Parish School adheres to a non-discrimination policy, and the school will not reject the application of any student based on sex, race, creed, color, religion, nationality, or ethnic origin.

How do I enroll in your preschool and Transitional Kindergarten classes?
Preschool applicants must be potty trained. It is the school’s position that children need to have reached a maturity level that reflects the social skills and attentiveness, which this program requires.
Transitional-Kindergarten applicants and parents will be asked to visit the T-K class and meet with the teacher. Prospective T-Kindergarten students are not formally tested, but should be 5 on on before December 2nd. The decision to admit a student to the T-Kindergarten program rests with the T-Kindergarten teacher and the Principal.
Do I need to enroll my children in Catechism classes?
No, it is built in to our curriculum. At Sacred Heart Parish School, students receive Catechism throughout the day, primarily through religion curriculum. Students participate in weekly mass and prepare for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion as a class.
Where can I purchase uniforms?
Uniforms can be purchased from Dennis Uniform. You can order directly from the Dennis Uniform website, www.dennisuniform.com, our school code is M3RSAC. Please refer to our complete list of requirements via this link, dress uniform requirements. We hold a used uniform exchange and sale the week before school starts and at various times throughout the year, refer to the calendar for specific information.
